Connect VDO TV Player

Use this page if you are setting up VDO TV Player for a screening room or big-screen review.
Outcome
Apple TV joins the room as a native playback endpoint.
Steps
- Install VDO TV Player on the Apple TV used for review.
- In VDO, open Rooms.
- Open Room Settings or Share settings for the room.
- Copy the room key.
- Copy the stream code for the room. Editorial rooms use a viewer code. Colour rooms use a player code.
- On Apple TV, open VDO TV Player.
- Enter the room key.
- Enter the stream code.
- Select Connect after VDO Streamer is publishing to the room.
Expected result
VDO TV Player connects to the room and displays the active stream.
Common failures
The app asks for a room key. The room key field is empty.
The app asks for a stream code. The stream code field is empty.
The connection is rejected. Use the latest code from room settings.
The code role is wrong. Use viewer for Editorial viewing and player for Colour playback.
The TV connects but no picture appears. Confirm the stream is active in the same room.
