Built for the room,
not the call.
A short tour of the things that actually matter when you stream a colour grade or sit at a remote suite. No buzzword grid. The questions a head of post would ask, with the answers we believe in — and the rooms in the product that deliver them.

The grade
arrives intact.
One pipeline carries the frame from the suite to the client. We don’t transcode it, we don’t re-encode it, we don’t flatten to Rec.709 on the way out. Whatever you set in the room is what the pipeline ships.
- 0110-bit chroma at 4:2:0, 4:2:2 or 4:4:4 — you pick.
- 02SDR, HLG and PQ transfer functions signalled.
- 03Rec.709, P3 D65, Rec.2020 and DCI-P3 primaries.
- 04ICC profiles forwarded both ways for Workstation.
- 05Discrete-channel, lossless audio rides along.

Under 50 ms
in the pipe.
Pipeline overhead is under 50 ms end-to-end. The rest of any total round-trip you measure is your network and the physical distance between machines. Two paths optimise the two rooms.
- 01Colour rooms go direct peer-to-peer where the network allows it. Lowest possible latency by design.
- 02Editorial rooms run on a regional relay so an editor, a producer and an exec stay in sync at scale.
- 03WebRTC over QUIC. UDP with TCP fallback. Adapts in real time as bandwidth shifts.
- 04Encryption is identical on either path. None of it is “premium tier.”
Encrypted.
Not recorded.
Built for facilities whose only deliverable is the work itself. Security here is mostly defined by the things we go out of our way not to do.
Encrypted on every path.
Colour-room peer-to-peer is end-to-end encrypted — the frame never traverses our infrastructure in plaintext. Editorial-room relay is encrypted client-to-relay and relay-to-viewer. None of it is optional.
There is no “at rest.”
Real-time media isn’t stored. Nothing sits on a CDN waiting to leak. Session metadata is kept for billing only; account data is encrypted in our own regional databases.
No inbound ports.
The Workstation agent reaches outward; your firewall stays closed. On-prem deployment for facilities that need it. IP allow-listing and per-link expiry on Sessions.
The right people, only.
Per-link waiting room, optional fixed-region relay, and team-level SSO on enterprise plans. Read security for the longer version.

Sit at your suite.
From anywhere.
The remote-desktop product designed for the suite, not for a sales-engineer’s spreadsheet. Pen pressure, multi-monitor, ICC profiles forwarded both ways, audio that works. Read the full breakdown.
- 01Native agents on macOS Apple Silicon and Linux.
- 0210-bit colour-managed. HDR-aware (PQ, HLG).
- 03Pen-vs-eraser tip distinction. Wacom, Cintiq, iPad sidecar.
- 04Direct P2P where networks allow. <50 ms in our pipeline.

Multi-stream, self-hosted.Linux + Nvidia, your hardware
Software you install on a Linux workstation with an Nvidia GPU. Run up to four HD or UHD streams from a single box, all colour-managed end to end. Bring your own hardware — we publish minimum and recommended specs per stream count.
