Full support for HDR metadata, wide colour gamuts, and high bit-depth encoding. Grade in Rec. 2020 or DCI-P3 and stream with the metadata intact.

The native macOS encoder uses Apple Silicon's Media Engine for H.264 and H.265. High quality at low latency without taxing your CPU or slowing your NLE.

VDO Streamer
macOSNative encoder built for Apple Silicon. Captures from screen, NDI, Blackmagic hardware, or file playback. Hardware-accelerated H.265 encoding with full colour metadata preservation. Streams directly to the Player via P2P — no server in between.
VDO Player
macOSNative playback app with full HDR support on Mac displays including XDR and Apple Pro Display. Receives the P2P stream and renders with colour-accurate output. Required for HDR viewing — the browser cannot access HDR display capabilities.
Browser Viewer
Any deviceZero-install playback in any modern browser. Ideal for SDR and wide colour gamut review — clients can join from any device without downloading anything. HDR metadata is preserved but display is limited to what the browser can render.
Apple TV Player
View colour sessions on the big screen. The VDO Apple TV app receives streams at full quality with SDR and HDR support, up to 16 channels of audio, and the same ultra-low latency as the desktop apps. Perfect for client suites, screening rooms, or any environment where you need a large display.
